Cesar Depaz

Hi, I’m Cesar Depaz. Since I was a kid, I have been involved in many different ministries in our, and other churches, and for years, people have referred to me as one of their pastors. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it by accepting the call to become the Lead Pastor at Iglesia Hispana de la Comunidad (Hispanic Community Church of Boston). I am also the Associate Director of Hispanic Ministries at GriffithCoaching.

My mission is two-fold:

  1. To communicate the Word of God in a simple, clear and practical way, so it is easy to understand and put into practice and
  2. To Provide training and coaching for new and renewing congregations around the country and from a variety of denominations.

To that end, I write on personal & spiritual development, leadership, and Church Development. From time to time I write about stuff that doesn’t fit neatly into one of these categories, but that can help you get inspired and motivated to work for God’s Kingdom.

About Me

I’m from San Jose Costa Rica. My parents, Cesar & Lisa De Paz, were the pastors of the Christian Restoration Center in Pavas, San José, Costa Rica and from an early age, I got involved in different ministries of the Church but the one that I liked the most was leading worship.

I’ve been married to my wife Janet for 12 years. The Lord has blessed me with 3 beautiful children: César, Sebastian, and Daniel. We live in Boston, Massachusetts.

In my free time, I enjoy reading and play video games – yes, I find Fifa Soccer for PS4 very relaxing and fun.
